Visual culture and its connection to digital inclusion are important to study because it usually represents at least one group of people if not many different groups, which connects directly to digital inclusion because to understand the visual culture, is to understand who is being represented within that culture.

Yes, pop culture and trends are important topics to understand for digital inclusion in the future because visual culture essentially goes hand in hand with pop culture/trends due to the idea that the audiences of pop culture are now the ones seeking out what's different new, and interesting at the time....or in other words the trends.

I think this is exactly what makes Andy Warhol so famous he used the idea of being different, new, and interesting and took it to an extreme in the most subtle ways, not forcing his art or character on anyone but letting them willingly appreciate it. The dialogue his art created was simply to be yourself despite others' opinions and I think this was important because at the time with all the things going on in the world that reminder was exactly what people were looking for, Andy Warhols was interesting, yet secretive, almost mysterious identity showed the world exactly what it meant to be yourself.

This leads me to think identity is valuable because it represents who you are, and if one knows their identity then they are able to recognize inclusion and exclusion in all types of forms overall making them more aware of the world as a whole.

This idea of what it means to have an identity leads us to the topic of trends, I think trends occur because at the time while whatever is trending, trends, people join or follow that trend to feel as if they are a part of that group or as if that is their new identity since it's what's new, different, and interesting at the time.
